The Republic of Akar is ruled by a governing body that is voted on by the people. The land is broken into many districts that are ruled over by Governors who are also elected by the people.
The city of Deepgrotto is unique in that it is entirely underground and connected to a vast underground lake. The passages in Deepgrotto are said to travel hundreds of miles beneath the surface and are one way into the Underdark.
The land of Akar is rolling hills and forests and is generally temperate in nature.
Akar is currently at peace with its neighbors.
